EU Safety Watch is an independent, ad-free aggregator of every official EU and national consumer-safety alert โ medicine shortages, food recalls, product recalls, and safety letters โ translated into plain language across 13 European languages.

EU Safety Watch is an independent project operated from the Netherlands. It is built and maintained by a single technologist, with translation help from Mistral AI and image enrichment from Wikipedia and PubChem.
We are not funded by any pharmaceutical company, food producer, retailer, agency, or government body. We accept no advertising. The site costs us money to run; we keep it free because consumer safety information should not sit behind a paywall.
๐ค How AI is used
AI is used for two narrow tasks: translating UI strings + summarising agency notices into plainer language. AI never invents facts. Every alert detail page shows a clear "AI-generated summary" notice, and the official source is always linked. If you spot an error, please tell us.
