🔒 Privacy policy

Short version: we collect your email if you ask for alerts, and only use it to send those alerts. We use Google Analytics. We have no advertising, no third-party tracking, and we never sell data.

What we collect

When you subscribe to alerts

• Email address — to deliver the alerts you signed up for. We use Resend as our email provider.
• Your alert preferences — which country, channel, or specific topic you asked to watch.
• Locale at signup — so we send the alert in your preferred language.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the one-click link in every email we send. Unsubscribing removes your address from our database immediately.

When you post a comment / discussion

• Your email (for confirmation only; never displayed publicly)
• Optional display name (shown on the comment)
• Comment text

Just by visiting

• Standard web-server logs (IP, user-agent, referrer, page URL). Retained 14 days for abuse / debug.
• Cloudflare-injected country header (used only to pre-populate the country switcher in some sessions — never stored long-term).
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregated, anonymised page-visit statistics. No personally identifiable data is forwarded.
• A session cookie that remembers your chosen language + country preference.

What we do NOT collect

• No advertising or marketing-tracking cookies
• No social-media tracking pixels
• No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking
• No medical-history, browsing-history, or location data beyond country-level
• We do not sell, rent, or share email lists with anyone — ever

Third-party services we use

• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, edge security. Privacy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregated visit stats. We do not enable advertising features. Privacy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Resend — transactional email delivery for alerts. Privacy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Mistral AI — text translation. We send English UI strings and agency-published alert text only — no personal data. mistral.ai/terms

Your GDPR rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct it
• Have it erased
• Receive a copy in a portable format
• Object to processing or restrict it
• Withdraw consent at any time
