What is this? Groundnuts (peanuts) may contain tiny amounts of mold poisons called aflatoxins. These can be harmful if eaten over time.
What's happening? Some groundnuts from the United States were found to have too much aflatoxin. They were stopped at the Dutch border.
Does this affect me? Only if you bought groundnuts from this batch. Most safe groundnuts are still okay.
What should I do? If you have these groundnuts, throw them away. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you feel unwell after eating them.
