What is this? Some groundnuts (peanuts) from India may have tiny amounts of a natural mold poison called aflatoxin.
What's happening? The Dutch food safety team found too much aflatoxin in a batch of Indian groundnuts. They stopped the nuts from entering the country.
Does this affect me? If you bought groundnuts from India recently, check the package or ask the store.
What should I do? Do not eat them. Return the nuts to the shop or throw them away. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell.
