What is this? Some groundnuts from India may have tiny mold poisons called aflatoxins. These can be harmful if eaten.
What's happening? The Dutch food safety team found too much aflatoxin in groundnuts from India. They stopped these nuts at the border.
Does this affect me? If you bought groundnuts or foods with Indian groundnuts recently, check the package.
What should I do? Throw away any groundnuts from India or ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell after eating them.
