What is this? Aflatoxins are harmful substances made by moulds. They can sometimes be found in maize (corn) grain.
What's happening? Maize grain from Slovakia had too much aflatoxin. This was found in feed for animals.
Does this affect me? This alert is for animal feed only. It does not affect food meant for people.
What should I do? If you feed animals, check with your vet or feed supplier. Do not use suspect feed.
