What is this? Aflatoxins are harmful substances sometimes found in nuts. They can be made by moulds on the nuts.
What's happening? Some groundnuts from the USA were found to have too much aflatoxin. They were stopped at the Dutch border.
Does this affect me? If you bought groundnuts recently, check where they came from. Only USA groundnuts might be affected.
What should I do? If you have these nuts, throw them away. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell after eating them.
