What is this? Blanched groundnut kernels are peanuts with their skins removed. Aflatoxins are harmful substances made by moulds that can grow on nuts.
What's happening? Some peanut products from Argentina were found to have too much aflatoxin. The Dutch government stopped these peanuts at the border.
