What is this? Peanuts from China may have small amounts of mold poisons called aflatoxins. These poisons can make you sick if you eat too much.
What's happening? Some peanut kernels sold in the Netherlands had too much aflatoxin. The Dutch government stopped these peanuts from being sold.
Does this affect me? If you bought organic peanuts from China, check the package. If it says "recalled," do not eat them.
What should I do? Throw away the peanuts or return them. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you feel sick after eating them.
