What is this? Some groundnuts from India may have tiny mould poisons called aflatoxins. These poisons can make you very ill.
What's happening? The Dutch food safety team found too much aflatoxin in groundnuts from India. They stopped these nuts from entering the country.
Does this affect me? If you bought groundnuts from India recently, check the package. You may need to throw them away.
What should I do? Do not eat the nuts. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel sick after eating them.
