What is this? Some groundnuts from India may have tiny mold poisons called aflatoxins. These poisons can make food unsafe to eat.
What's happening? The Dutch food watchdog found too much aflatoxin in Indian groundnuts. They stopped these nuts from entering the country.
Does this affect me? If you bought Indian groundnuts or foods with them in the Netherlands, check your package.
What should I do? Do not eat them. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell after eating them.
