What is this? Peanuts from the USA may have small amounts of mold poisons called aflatoxins. These poisons can be harmful if eaten a lot over time.
What's happening? The Dutch government found too much aflatoxin in some inshell peanuts from the USA. They stopped these peanuts from being sold.
Does this affect me? If you bought inshell peanuts from the USA recently, check the package. If it says “recalled,” do not eat them.
