What is this? Some shellfish can contain tiny amounts of a natural poison called ASP. It comes from algae in the water.
What's happening? Shellfish from France may have unsafe levels of this poison. France has recalled some batches.
Does this affect me? If you bought shellfish from France, especially in France, Germany, Monaco, or Spain, you may be at risk.
What should I do? Do not eat the recalled shellfish. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you feel unwell after eating shellfish.
