What is this? Some palm oil may have small amounts of harmful chemicals called benzo(a)pyrene and other PAHs. These can come from the environment.
What's happening? A batch of palm oil from Guinea was found to have too much of these chemicals. It was sold in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany.
