What is this? Dried bay leaves from Bangladesh may have harmful chemicals called benzo(a)pyrene and other PAHs. These can come from smoke or pollution.
What's happening? Some dried bay leaves sold in Germany, Austria, France, Luxembourg, and Spain had too much of these chemicals. They were recalled.
