What is this? A check found too much bromide in a baby milk product. Bromide is a chemical sometimes left from farming.
What's happening? Portugal told the EU that one follow-on formula had bromide above the safe limit. The risk is now called “no risk.”
Does this affect me? If you bought baby milk in Portugal, check the pack. Only follow-on formula for babies over six months is involved.
What should I do? Stop using that pack and ask your pharmacist or doctor which formula to use instead.
