What is this? Mandarins from Türkiye may have a small amount of a pesticide called chlorpyrifos-methyl. This is not allowed in the EU.
What's happening? Some mandarins sold in Austria and the Netherlands had too much of this pesticide. They were taken off store shelves.
Does this affect me? If you bought mandarins from these countries recently, check if they are part of this recall.
What should I do? Throw away or return the mandarins. If you feel unwell, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
