What is this? Some flavoured palm oil from Malaysia may have too much of two chemicals called 3-MCPD and glycidol. These can form when oils are heated too much.
What's happening? Germany found these high levels in palm oil sent from Malaysia through the Netherlands. The oil may not be safe to eat.
