What is this? Some frozen beef may have harmful bacteria called E. coli (STEC). These bacteria can make you very sick.
What's happening? A batch of frozen beef has been found with this bacteria. It was stopped at the border before it could be sold.
Does this affect me? If you have frozen beef at home, check where it came from. If it’s from the affected batch, do not eat it.
What should I do? Throw away the beef or return it. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you feel sick after eating beef.
