What is this? Some shellfish may have a small amount of a chemical called PFHxS. This chemical can build up in the environment.
What's happening? Ireland found too much PFHxS in some nephrops (langoustines or Dublin Bay prawns). These may be sold in Ireland and France.
Does this affect me? If you bought nephrops in Ireland or France, you might have some. Eating a little now and then is not likely to cause harm.
