What is this? Some herbs and teas may have small amounts of natural poisons called pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs). Oregano, cumin, and chamomile tea can sometimes have more than is safe.
What's happening? A test found too much of these poisons in some oregano, cumin, and chamomile tea. These products were sold in a few countries.
Does this affect me? If you bought oregano, cumin, or chamomile tea in Denmark, Guatemala, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, or the United States, this may affect you.
What should I do? Stop using the product and ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell.
