What is this? Grapefruit may have small amounts of two pesticides called chlorpyrifos and chlorpyrifos-methyl. These are chemicals sometimes used to kill bugs on crops.
What's happening? Poland found too much of these pesticides in grapefruit from Türkiye. The fruit may still be in stores or homes.
Does this affect me? If you bought grapefruit recently, this notice may apply to you. The risk is not yet clear.
What should I do? Do not eat the grapefruit. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell after eating it.
