What is this? Some mandarins from Turkey have small amounts of two pesticides called fenvalerate and fenbutatin oxide. These are not allowed in the EU.
What's happening? Slovakia found these pesticides in mandarins sold in Italy. The risk is not clear yet.
Does this affect me? If you bought mandarins from Turkey recently, you may have some of these fruits.
What should I do? Throw away the fruit or return it. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you feel unwell after eating it.
