What is this? Meat from veal quarters may have a small amount of a medicine called gentamycin. This can happen if the animal was treated with it.
What's happening? Some veal meat sold in the Netherlands and Sweden had traces of gentamycin. This is not allowed in food.
Does this affect me? If you bought veal quarters from the Netherlands or Sweden, you might have some in your home.
What should I do? Do not eat the meat. Return it to the store or throw it away. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you feel unwell after eating it.
