What is this? Aflatoxin B1 is a poison made by mould on nuts. It can make people very ill if eaten.
What's happening? Some groundnuts from India were found to have too much aflatoxin B1. They were stopped at the Dutch border.
Does this affect me? If you bought groundnuts from India recently, check the package. If you ate them and feel sick, see a doctor.
What should I do? Throw away any Indian groundnuts you have. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you feel unwell.
