What is this? Potatoes may have two extra chemicals called imazalil and flutolanil. These are pesticides sometimes used to stop mold.
What's happening? A batch of potatoes from Germany had too much of these chemicals. The Dutch government found this and told stores to take them off shelves.
Does this affect me? If you bought potatoes in the Netherlands, check if they are from this batch.
What should I do? Throw away or return the potatoes. If you feel unwell after eating them, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
