What is this? Rice from Pakistan has small amounts of two pesticides called imidacloprid and thiamethoxam. These pesticides are not allowed in rice sold in the EU.
What's happening? Italy stopped some rice from Pakistan at the border because it had these extra pesticides. The rice was not allowed into the country.
