What is this? Some dried figs have a mold toxin called ochratoxin A. This can get into rye bread made with those figs.
What's happening? Slovenia found too much of this toxin in dried figs. Breads made with these figs were sold in several countries.
Does this affect me? If you bought rye bread with dried figs in Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, or Italy, you may have some.
