What is this? Some hot drink mugs from China may leak tiny amounts of lead or cadmium when hot liquid touches the glass.
What's happening? These mugs were sold in Poland and five other EU countries. Tests found the metals can move from the glass into drinks.
Does this affect me? If you bought a thermal glass mug from China, stop using it right away.
What should I do? Throw the mug away or return it to the shop. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell after drinking from it.
