What is this? Some cocoa and coffee drinks now contain two new plants: Rhodiola rosea and Ophiocordyceps sinensis. These were not used in food before.
What's happening? Switzerland told other EU countries that these drinks may not be safe. The products were sold in Switzerland, Bulgaria, France, and Portugal.
Does this affect me? If you bought a cocoa or coffee drink mix in those countries, check if it lists these plants.
What should I do? Stop drinking it and ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell.
