What is this? These are two kinds of Vietnamese fermented pork sausages sold under the “Oriental Kitchen” brand. They can carry a germ called staphylococcus aureus that may make people sick.
What's happening? The French food-safety agency found too many of these germs in the sausages. They told shops to stop selling them and to take them off shelves.
Does this affect me? If you bought these sausages in France, you might have them at home. They are the only products affected.
What should I do? Do not eat them. Take them back to the store where you bought them or throw them away. If you feel sick after eating them, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
