What is this? Some lemons from Spain have a little too much of a cleaning chemical called DDAC. The label says they are organic, but they may not be.
What's happening? Germany and France found these lemons with extra DDAC. The problem has been fixed, so new shipments should be safe.
Does this affect me? Only if you bought Spanish organic lemons in Germany or France before the fix. Most people are not at risk.
What should I do? If you have lemons at home, ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are worried. Otherwise, you can keep using them.
