What is this? Grape leaves from Egypt have small amounts of two pesticides. One is called boscalid. The other, carbendazim, is not allowed in the EU.
What's happening? Some shops in Ireland, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany and the Netherlands sold these leaves. The EU found the problem and told shops to take them back.
Does this affect me? You may have bought these leaves in those countries. If you did, you could have the product at home.
What should I do? Stop eating the leaves. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell.
