What is this? Some paper plates may have harmful chemicals called phthalates. These can move into food when the plates are used.
What's happening? Plates made in Spain were found to have too much of two phthalates. France told the EU about this problem.
Does this affect me? If you bought paper plates from France or Italy, you might have these plates at home.
