What is this? Some groundnuts (peanuts) from Brazil have small amounts of two weed-killers called haloxyfop and triclopyr.
What's happening? The Dutch food safety team found these left-over chemicals in a batch of peanuts. They say the risk is low.
Does this affect me? Only if you bought peanuts or peanut snacks from Brazil recently. Most people are not in danger.
What should I do? If you have any of these peanuts at home, throw them away. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell.
