What is this? Sulphites are chemicals sometimes used in food to keep it fresh longer. They can be found in shrimp or other shellfish.
What's happening? Some shrimp from Venezuela have too much sulphite in them. This was found in Portugal.
Does this affect me? If you bought shrimp in Portugal, you might have some at home.
What should I do? Do not eat the shrimp. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell after eating it.
