What is this? Some candies sold online in the Netherlands may have a food additive called E171. This additive is not allowed in the EU.

What's happening? The Dutch government found this additive in candies sold on a few websites. They have told the shops to stop selling them.

Does this affect me? If you bought candy from a Dutch website, check the package. If it lists E171, do not eat it.

What should I do? Throw the candy away. If you feel unwell, ask your pharmacist or doctor.
