What is this? Some foods and sweets sold in shops have an extra ingredient called cannabidiol, or CBD. CBD comes from the cannabis plant.
What's happening? Food safety officers found CBD in foods where it should not be. They are checking shops in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Does this affect me? If you bought sweets or food supplements in Slovakia or the Czech Republic, you might have some with CBD.
What should I do? Stop eating the product if you see CBD on the label. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell.
