What is this? Some organic Thai rice noodles from China may have a small amount of a gene called CryIAb. This gene is not allowed in food sold in the EU.
What's happening? The UK found this gene in the noodles. They have now stopped these noodles from being sold.
Does this affect me? If you bought these noodles, you may have some at home. They are not safe to eat.
What should I do? Throw them away or return them to the shop. If you feel unwell, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
