What is this? Dried apricots may have a hidden chemical called sulphur dioxide. This chemical can cause problems for some people.
What's happening? Some dried apricots sold in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden have too much sulphur dioxide. This was not written on the label.
Does this affect me? If you are allergic to sulphur or sulphites, these apricots could be unsafe for you.
What should I do? Do not eat the apricots. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell after eating them.
