What is this? Some shrimp from Vietnam sold in Germany and the Netherlands may have a chemical called diphosphate. This was not listed on the label.
What's happening? The shrimp were sent from Vietnam through the Netherlands. Germany found the missing label and told stores to take them off shelves.
Does this affect me? If you bought shrimp from these countries recently, check the label. If it doesn’t say diphosphate, do not eat them.
