What is this? Some raw or undercooked shrimp may carry harmful bacteria called Vibrio. These can make you very sick.
What's happening? Shrimp from Ecuador might have too much Vibrio. France and Belgium have recalled some batches.
Does this affect me? If you bought shrimp recently, check the recall list. People with weak immune systems are most at risk.
What should I do? Throw away any recalled shrimp. If you feel sick after eating shrimp, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
