What is this? This is a black ink or dye called ALLA PRIMA — KORU - TRIBAL BLACK. Tests show it has harmful chemicals called polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
What's happening? The ink has too much of a dangerous chemical called benzo(a)pyrene. This chemical can cause cancer.
