- The blue finger paint releases an excessive amount nitrosamines (measured total value: 60.14 mg/ kg), among which 4-nitrosomorpholine (NMOR) and n-nitrosodiethanolamine (NDELA). Nitrosamamines may cause cancer through ingestion or dermal exposure. A child could be exposed to them when touching or putting the product in the mouth.
