What is this? Dodge trucks and SUVs may have a problem with their brake computer. A fault can turn off the stability control that keeps the vehicle from skidding.

What's happening? Some Dodge RAM 2500, RAM 3500, and Durango vehicles built in the United States have this software bug. When it happens, the anti-lock brakes still work, but the stability control may stop working.

Does this affect me? If you own or drive one of these Dodge models in Germany, your vehicle could suddenly lose stability control while driving.

What should I do? Take the vehicle to a Dodge dealer right away for a free software update. Ask your dealer or a mechanic if you are unsure.
