Additionally, the product has an excessive concentration of short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured value: 7% by weight). SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bio-accumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment.

What is this? These are reading glasses with small LED lights built in. The plastic frames have too much of two chemicals called DEHP and DBP, and also too much of a chemical called SCCPs.
What's happening? Tests found the plastic has unsafe levels of these chemicals. SCCPs can harm people and the environment.
Does this affect me? Anyone in Sweden who bought these glasses may be at risk. The glasses were made in China.
What should I do? Stop using the glasses right away. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unwell. Return the glasses to where you bought them.
