Barium can be easily absorbed and has toxic effects on the body impairing muscle, heart and kidney activity, leading to arrythmia, paralysis or gastrointestinal alterations. Furthermore, the product contains p-phenylenediamine (PPD) (measured value: 12.64% by weight) with an insufficient coupling agent. Uncoupled PPD is an extreme skin sensitiser and can trigger allergic contact dermatitis.
