What is this? This is a recall for some Kawasaki motorcycles. A problem in the engine computer may cause the engine to backfire when you use the quick shifter at high speed.
What's happening? Kawasaki has fixed the problem in newer bikes. Older bikes may still have the unsafe computer program.
Does this affect me? If you own a recalled Ninja ZX-10R or ZX-10RR made before the fix, your bike could be at risk.
What should I do? Take your bike to a Kawasaki dealer right away. Ask your dealer or a mechanic about the fix.
