What is this? A curling iron made to style hair. It uses electricity to heat metal plates.

What's happening? The iron’s metal plates can expose live wires when open. Its insulation is weak, so electricity may leak out.

Does this affect me? Anyone using this iron in France could get an electric shock.

What should I do? Stop using it right away. Ask a pharmacist or doctor if you feel a shock. Return the iron to where you bought it.
