What is this? Kia has recalled some electric Soul and Niro cars. A loose part inside the car’s computer can cause a warning light and bad exhaust fumes.
What's happening? The car maker found that a screw on the computer box may not be tight enough. This can make the car pollute more than it should.
Does this affect me? Owners in France, Sweden or Slovakia may have one of these cars. Check if yours is on the recall list.
What should I do? Call your nearest Kia dealer or garage right away. They will tighten the screw for free. Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you feel unsure about driving the car.
